Come celebrate the launch of the new book Endangered Species, Enduring Values: An Anthology of San Francisco Area Writers and Artists of Color, edited by Shizue Seigel. This book provides a compelling snapshot of the 58% of people of color in the nation’s most diverse and progressive metropolis. The book includes prose, poetry and four color artwork from established to emerging writers ages 14 - 80, from immigrant to indigenous people. The writers have roots in Native America, Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Middle East. San Francisco Poet Laureate Kim Shuck will also join the festivities.
