trash, put
in truck, take
to dump, sweep
out truck bed,
feel love
for truck,
then do other things
I’m supposed to do
but can’t, fortunately,
remember now.
What I remember now
is from a moment ago,
seeing my father appear
in my mind’s eye,
then not.
